- This Privacy Policy aims to describe how ALTRI FLORESTAL, S.A., with registered office at Leirosa, 3090-484 Marinha das Ondas, registered with the Commercial Registry under the sole registration and legal entity identification number 500 249 741, with share capital of € 63,150,000.00 ("Altri Florestal") processes the personal data provided by clients, suppliers, partners or investors (together, the "Users") through the Altri Florestal site, accessible at https://altriflorestal.pt/ ("Altri Florestal Site").
- Altri Florestal is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site.
- Altri Florestal is committed to safeguarding, at all times, the rights of the holders of personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site, as set out in applicable legislation.
- Altri Florestal processes all personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site in accordance with the legal rules on the protection of personal data, in particular, the rules set out in:
- (i) Law No. 58/2019, of 8 August, which ensures the implementation, in the national legal system, of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("GDPR"), and
- (ii) the GDPR.
- The controller is the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, and the controller of the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site is Altri Florestal, which decides, specifically, which personal data are to be collected, the purposes and means of processing, and the retention period of the personal data.
- In processing the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site, Altri Florestal permanently observes and respects the following fundamental principles:
- (i) lawfulness of processing
- (ii) transparency
- (iii) purpose limitation
- (iv) data minimisation
- (v) accuracy
- (vi) integrity and confidentiality
- (vii) storage limitation
- (viii) data protection by design and by default
- Altri Florestal may process the following categories of personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site:

- Altri Florestal processes the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site for the following purposes:

- Altri Florestal will only process personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site provided that one of the following legal bases is verified:
- (i) consent of the data subject
- (ii) performance of a contract or for pre-contractual steps
- (iii) compliance with a legal obligation
- (iv) legitimate interest
- The holders of personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site have the following rights:
- (i) right of access and information
- (ii) right of rectification
- (iii) right to request erasure of data ("right to be forgotten")
- (iv) right to request restriction of the processing of their personal data
- (v) right to data portability
- (vi) right to withdraw consent
- (vii) right to object to the processing of their personal data
- (viii) right not to be subject to any automated individual decision-making
- (ix) right to lodge a complaint
- The exercise of rights by holders of personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site is free of charge, except where requests submitted by a data subject are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature, in which case Altri Florestal may charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or communication, or of taking the requested measures, or may refuse to act on the request. - Altri Florestal will only process and retain the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site for the period of time strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
- Personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site will be processed and retained:
- (i) for the duration of the contractual relationship between Altri Florestal and the Supplier, or
- (ii) for the period of time necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of Altri Florestal or a third party.
- Altri Florestal does not transmit the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site to third parties, except where this is necessary to comply with legal obligations to which Altri Florestal is subject, or where consent has been given for that purpose. The transmission of data to third parties is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and within the limits of the purposes and legal grounds defined in this Privacy Policy.
- Altri Florestal may share the personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site with the following entities:
- a) service providers who provide services to Altri Florestal (for example, IT service providers);
- b) companies that are part of the Altri Group or partner entities of Altri Florestal, in cases where consent has been given for that purpose;
- c) public authorities, in compliance with legal obligations (such as, for example, the Tax Authority or judicial authorities).
- Altri Florestal has adopted and implemented a set of technical and organisational measures that are necessary, sufficient and appropriate to ensure the protection of personal data provided by Users through the Altri Florestal Site against destruction, accidental loss, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, whether accidental or unlawful, as well as the measures necessary, sufficient and appropriate to guarantee the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of personal data and an appropriate level of technical and organisational security in relation to the risks inherent to the processing and nature of personal data.
- Altri Florestal may, at any time, amend this Privacy Policy, and such changes shall take effect from the date of their publication on the Altri Florestal Site.
